Please complete the following steps as soon as possible:

1. Check with your administration that Wednesday, May 27, 2026 will fit into your school calendar. If you are competing, mark the date on your calendar.
2. Complete all necessary ECML forms (see the bottom of this page to access the forms).
3. Fill out the necessary paperwork to reserve a bus for the team.  The bus should arrive with the team no later than 9:00 am.  The bus needs to pick the team up at the college between 12:00 noon and 1 pm.
4. File the paperwork immediately for the entrance fee of $250.  The check should be made payable to “West Orange High School” with a memo of “ECML 2026.”  Please include a copy of the invoice (at the bottom of this page) with your payment. In most districts, this takes a great deal of time and is the biggest delay.

6. After the registration deadline, registered schools will receive an email to sign up students. This will need to be completed no later than 2 days before the contest.
